The Imperial TIE Fighter replica from eFX Collectibles has just begun shipping to those who pre-ordered. Here’s a great shot by averone at the Sideshow Freaks forum, alongside the X-Wing replica that eFX released a couple of years back. I can feel 35 years worth of nostalgia welling up in me.
The eFX TIE has been in development for an age, as the company has ever-so-painstakingly striven to achieve an exacting level of detail in the project. The final product is so incredibly screen accurate. Were it mine, I’d call it well worth the wait.
I snagged the X-Wing, but passed on the TIE. Feeling more than a little envious at the moment. They look great together.
